
#11 NC State Collects Two Wins Friday

The Pack defeated Clemson and Appalachian State
RALEIGH – The No. 11 NC State women's tennis team picked up two wins in its home doubleheader Friday, defeating Clemson 6-1 and Appalachian State 7-0. NC State improves to 14-3 (5-1) on the season, while Clemson and Appalachian State drop to 6-9 (2-5) and 6-4 (0-0) respectively.
No. 12 Anna Rogers and Alana Smith went undefeated on the day in doubles (2-0), including a top-five win over No. 4 Marie Leduc and Fernanda Navarro (Clemson). Adriana Reami and Claudia Wiktorin also contributed two wins in the effort to secure both doubles points on Friday.
Six members of the Pack proved undefeated in singles play Friday: No. 28 Anna Rogers, No. 90 Alana Smith, No. 103 Adriana Reami, Bianca Moldovan, Amanda Rebol, and Claudia Wiktorin.

#11 NC State vs. Clemson:
The Pack came out firing in doubles, as doubles duos Reami and Wiktorin and Moldovan and Liz Norman went up three games to none out of the gate. Reami and Wiktorin would claim the first victory of the day with a quick 6-1 match over Alexa Angyalosy and Laura Marti.
Capturing the doubles point for NC State, No. 12 Rogers and Smith collected an impressive 6-3 win over No. 4 Marie Leduc and Fernanda Navarro. The duo is now 7-1 against ranked doubles opponents, including two wins over top-five opponents this season.
In singles, NC State earned three consecutive wins to claim victory. No. 103 Reami got the Pack off on the right foot, defeating Sydney Riley in straight sets. No. 28 Rogers and No. 90 Smith did the same over Leduc and No. 105 Navarro. With her court two victory, Smith picked up her fourth ranked singles win of the season.
Bianca Moldovan and Amanda Rebol captured wins to extend the Pack's lead to 6-1 after the match was clinched.
