Cunane, Konig, and Rogers Earn Spots on All-ACC Academic Team

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Elissa Cunane, Aislinn Konig, and DD Rogers of the No. 9/11 NC State women's basketball team (25-4) were all named to the 2019 All-ACC Academic Team, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced Friday morning.

NC State has a consistent presence on the All-ACC Academic Team each season, but the 2019 squad marks the first time since 2011 that the Wolfpack has had three representatives. Having three student-athletes on the team ties the Wolfpack for the second-highest number of representatives with Boston College, Virginia Tech, and Wake Forest. Louisville led all programs with a total of four honorees.

The third-seeded Wolfpack opens postseason play Friday night at the 2019 ACC Tournament against sixth-seeded Florida State. Tip-off from the Greensboro Coliseum is scheduled for 8 pm with live television coverage provided by Raycom.
