All five Wolfpack relays qualify for the national meet
INDIANAPOLIS– The NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Committee announced its selection of swimmers who will compete at the 2019 NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships, and 12 Wolfpack women qualified for the national meet.
NC State's 12 selections are the most in program history for the Wolfpack women, and that number is tied for the fourth most qualifiers in the nation this season. In addition to the 12 individuals selected for the national meet, all five of the Wolfpack's relays qualified to race at the NCAA Championships.
The Wolfpack women are coming off of the program's second conference title in three years after winning the team trophy at the 2019 ACC Championships. The Pack won a total of 11 event titles at the conference meet, setting the program record for the most single-season conference titles. NC State's 12 All-ACC honorees were also the most in program history.
NC State will now turn its attention to the 2019 NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships, which will be held March 20-23 at the Lee & Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center in Austin, Texas.
A list of the selected swimmers and the events in which they qualified is below:
NC State's divers will also look to qualify for the NCAA Championships as they compete at the NCAA Zone B Diving Championships in Auburn, Ala. from March 11-13.
