Softball Announces Summer Camp Dates

NC State head softball coach Jennifer Patrick-Swift and her staff have announced their summer camp dates for 2019.

Pitching/Catching Clinic
When: June 27th from 9:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Who: 7^th-12^th grades
Cost: $110.00 per camper
Place: Dail Softball Stadium
About: The clinic is designed to improve the pitcher's skills such as: accuracy on all pitches, proper mechanics, pitch movement and other basic information. Pitchers must provide a catcher. At certain periods during the camp catchers may catch pitchers. Catchers will cover the basic fundamental's such as: receiving, blocking, framing, footwork, throwing and more.

Hack With The Pack- #HomeRunMindset – Under The Lights
When: June18th from 6:30-9:00pm
Who: 7^th-12^th Grades
Cost: $115.00 per camper
Where: Dail Softball Stadium
About: This clinic is intended for campers to showcase their hitting ability in front of the wolfpack coaching staff. On field batting practice under the lights, drills, lecture, and more will highlight the clinic. This showcase is a great opportunity to learn about the Wolfpack's #HomeRunMindset

Team Camps
16U TEAM DAY (LIMIT OF FIVE TEAMS)
When: June 17^th from 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Cost: $125.00 per camper (Maximum 15 players/Minimum 9 players per team)
Reservation: Team coach must email Patrick Swift at paswift@ncsu.edu to reserve your team's spot. You will be notified via email once your team has be confirmed as attending.
Where: Dail Softball Stadium
About: The team camp will focus on individual skill work along with team drills. Throughout the day, instruction will be provided during hitting sessions, batting practice, defensive sessions, baserunning, and games. Each team will have a built in one-hour lunch break and campers will need to provide their own lunch.

14U TEAM DAY (LIMIT OF FIVE TEAMS)
When: June 19^th from 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Cost: 125.00 per camper (Maximum 15 players/Minimum 9 players per team)

3-Day Elite Camp
When: June 24-26^th from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
Who: 12 and older
Cost: $400.00 per camper
*Lunch will only be provided on the last day. (Monday and Tuesday will have a lunch break time, but food will not be provided.)
Where: Dail Softball Stadium
About: This camp is designed for middle school and high school age players to improve on their skill set and learn more from our current softball staff and players. The camp will cover all areas of the game and will provide great drills for a individual and team setting. Portions of this camp will run just like a practice that the current Wolfpack completes on a daily basis. Pitching and catching will be conducted on one day of the camp with basis information during that time. Camp t-shirts will be given out at the end of camp.

Wolfpup Camp
When: June 12-14^th from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
Who: 11 and under
Cost: $300.00 per camper
*Lunch will only be provided on the last day. (Monday and Tuesday will have a lunch break time, but food will not be provided.)
Where: Dail Softball Stadium
About: The camp will cover the basic fundamentals of the game of softball by our coaching staff and current players. Areas such as throwing, baserunning, fielding, pitching, bunting and hitting will be covered during this three-day camp. Campers will take away new skills and drills to improve their skill sets. Camp T-Shirts will be given out at the end of camp.
