NC State Checks in at No. 12 in Latest Oracle/ITA Division I Rankings

TEMPE, Ariz. – The NC State women's tennis team checks in at No. 12 in the latest Oracle/ITA Division I Rankings. The team has spent seven consecutive weeks in the top 25, and is 14-3 (5-1) on the season, including 6-2 against nationally ranked opponents.
NC State is on a four-match win streak. Posting wins in eight of its last nine matches, four have come against ranked opponents (No. 14 Virginia, No. 36 Boston College, No. 49 Louisville, No. 44 Notre Dame). Over the nine matches, the Pack has outscored its opponents 49-14.
Individually, four players in NC State's singles lineup hold win streaks. Leading the way is senior Bianca Moldovan, claiming victory in her last nine matches. Adriana Reami, Anna Rogers, and Alana Smith are on four-match win streaks.
In doubles, Rogers and Smith have won their past four matches, and Reami and Wiktorin have won their past two matches.
The No. 12 Pack will be back in action at the Paribas Open on Fri., March 15 at 11 p.m. ET to take on Baylor at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in Indian Wells, Calif.
