Elissa Cunane Earns First Team All-ACC Tournament Honors

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Freshman center Elissa Cunane of the NC State women's basketball team (26-5) was named to the 2019 ACC Women's Basketball All-Tournament First Team, the conference announced on Sunday.

Cunane is the only freshman to be honored among five players on the First Team and five players on the Second Team. In two games against No. 22 Florida State and No. 3 Louisville, Cunane averaged 21.0 points and 7.5 rebounds per game while shooting 16-of-25 (.640) from the field. She also went 9-of-10 (.900) from the free-throw line.

With 421 points scored so far this season, Cunane ranks fourth in the Wolfpack's record book for most single-season points by an NC State freshman.
