Women's Tennis Checks in at No. 10 in USTA Rankings

ORLANDO, Fla. -- The NC State women's tennis team checks in tied for No. 10 in the latest weekly Tennis Channel/USTA College Tennis Top 25 Rankings, as announced by the USTA on Wednesday. The Pack jumped nine spots from last week's No. 19 ranking.

Wednesday's ranking marks the first time the team has entered the top 10 this season. NC State defeated 20th-ranked Texas Tech on Feb. 1, 4-3, to give the Pack its second ranked win of the season (No. 11 Florida on Jan. 28).

NC State will compete at the ITA Indoor National Team Championship for the first time in program history in Seattle, Wash., Feb. 8-11.
