NC State Softball Announces Updates To Parking For Weekday Games

RALEIGH, N.C. - NC State Athletics has partnered with the NC State Transportation Office to create a new system for parking in the Coliseum Deck that scans the license plates of vehicles for games starting before 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Fans, parents, as well as media, will need to obtain a free VIRTUAL Event Permit to park in these lots.

Games Impacted by the Changes to Parking
Feb. 22          UMBC                        3 p.m.
March 5          Valparaiso                 12 p.m.
April 10          East Carolina            5 p.m.

*Any Friday neutral site games in the ACC/B1G Challenge, Fairfield Inn and Suites Crabtree Invitational and NC State Invitational that start before 5 p.m. will be affected as well.

To obtain your free VIRTUAL Event Permit for each weekday game before 5 p.m., please follow the directions below:

1. Visit ncsu.aimsparking.com
2. Select "Purchase Event Permit"
3. Agree to the Terms of Service
4. Select the event that you will attend. Please note: Each step below must be done for each weekday game prior to 5 PM that you will attend.
5. When prompted enter SOFTBALL2019 as the Event Voucher Code. The code is case sensitive and must be entered exactly as shown. Click Confirm.
6. Select Permit Type
7. Select/Confirm your parking dates. Click Confirm.
8. Select Location
9. Click "Add Vehicle. Enter vehicle license plate, state, year and make. Click Add.
10. Review information entered for accuracy and click continue.
11. Enter email address to receive confirmation of parking permit. Click Checkout.

If you're driving a rental car, please wait to obtain your parking permit until after you have received your rental car. Vehicle license plates cannot be changed once entered. You must obtain your parking permit before leaving your vehicle unattended on campus.

Remember, the permit is virtual, your license plate is your permit. Due to the scanning of license plates by the transportation office, please do not back into your space as the license plate must be visible.

Permit is valid only for the vehicle entered. Permit is not valid in paid parking locations.
