
Pack Closes Homestand with Visit from 12th-ranked Hokies

RALEIGH, NC – The 23rd-ranked NC State men's basketball team (16-5, 4-4 ACC) closes its three-game homestand Saturday at noon when 12th-ranked Virginia Tech (18-3, 6-2 ACC) visits a sold-out PNC Arena.
The game will be televised in the Raleigh area on WRAL (NBC). Other stations in North Carolina carrying the game include WBTV (CBS) in Charlotte, WFMY (CBS) in Greensboro- Winston-Salem – High Point, WITN-D2 (This TV) in Greenville – New Bern – Washington and WSFX (FOX) in Wilmington. Military Appreciation Day
- Saturday is Military Appreciation Day at PNC Arena. Support U.S. Armed Forces will be collecting items at the game in a donation drive to benefit military families. Ticket holders are asked to bring items such as household paper goods, toilet paper, facial tissue, paper towels, trash bags and ziplock bags to donate as they enter the arena on Saturday.

- The Pack trailed by 14 points with 12 minutes remaining in regulation, but battled back to force overtime before falling to #3 Virginia, 66-65, on Tuesday.
- NC State was led by Markell Johnson with 14 points, while Wyatt Walker had his finest performance in an NC State uniform with 11 points, seven rebounds and three blocked shots.
- The Pack has five players averaging in double figures in ACC play, led by junior guard CJ Bryce at 13.6 points per game. Over the last five games, Bryce is averaging 15.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. The Charlotte native has hit 11 of his last 17 three-point attempts.
