Softball Announces Winter Camps

NC State head softball coach Jennifer Patrick-Swift and the Wolfpack coaching staff have announced three winter clinic and camps, including a January Team Camp.Â

Data Day with the Pack
Nov. 30 6:30-9:00 p.m.
7th - 12th Grades
$235 per camper
Dail Softball Stadium Indoor Cages
This clinic is designed for hitters looking to get a competitive metric/visual overview of their swing using Diamond Kinetics, Flightscope and 4Dmotion sensors. All data will then be broken down and distributed to you through a partnership with SoftballCloud. Along with the metrics, you will receive images of your bat path and body movements. The clinic setup will also include an overview of how to understand, utilize and improve those numbers through lecture, drills and group discussion.Â
Campers will receive a complete data packet through the email used at signup the following week. This packet will have all the metrics and data compiled at the camp in a document provided by SoftballCloud. This showcase is limited to 15 campers.
January Team Camp
Jan. 26 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
$125 per camper (maximum 15 players/minimum 9 players per team)
Limit of four teams
Dail Softball Stadium
Team camp will focus on individual skill work along wih team drills. Throughout the day instruction will be provided during hitting sessions, batting practice, defensive sessions, baserunning and games. Each team will have a built in 1 hour lunch break and campers will need to provide their own lunch.Â
February Prospect Camp
Feb. 1 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
8th - 12th Grades
$200 per camper

Clinic is designed to provide student-athletes with an interest in the softball program at NC State a setting to showcase their skills. We will instruct advanced fundamentals of all facets of the game. Pitchers and catchers will also perform in live situations against hitters and base-runners.Â
