Wolfpack Unbeaten on First Day at ITA All-American Championships

NC State Picked Up Two Ranked Wins on Monday
TULSA, Okla. – The NC State women's tennis team came out strong in its opening day at the ITA Women's All-American Championships, finishing the day a perfect 5-0 in singles and doubles qualifying rounds combined.
Jaeda Daniel and Adriana Reami teamed up in doubles to take down the nation's 33rd-ranked pair, Daevenia Achong and Estela Perez-Somarriba (Miami), in a decisive 8-3 match to advance to play on Tuesday. The duo needs a victory tomorrow to qualify for the doubles main draw, which begins on Wednesday.
No. 83 Lexi Keberle dominated the final two sets of her three-set battle (4-6, 6-2, 6-0) with No. 57 Emmanuelle Salas (Florida State) to earn her second ranked victory of the season, marking the third top-60 victory of her career and her highest ranked victory since putting on a Wolfpack uniform.
No. 59 Daniel and No. 84 Reami advanced to the second round of the qualifying stage courtesy of 6-4, 6-2 and 6-2, 6-2 decisions respectively.
Keberle, Daniel and Reami seek singles wins tomorrow that would qualify them for the main draw that begins on Wednesday.
