NC State was in the AP top-17 for the entire 2018-19 season

RALEIGH – After advancing to its second consecutive NCAA Tournament Sweet 16, the NC State women's basketball team begins the 2019-20 season ranked 14th in the first Associated Press (AP) poll of the season.

Earlier this week, the Wolfpack was ranked 13th in the ESPNW Preseason Top 25. On Oct. 16, the Wolfpack was voted by both the Atlantic Coast Conference's head coaches and the league's blue ribbon media panel to finish second in the ACC this season.

NC State hosts Anderson University in a free exhibition inside Reynolds Coliseum on Thursday, Oct. 31. Tip-off from Kay Yow Court inside Valvano Arena at Reynolds Coliseum is scheduled for 7 pm with live streaming coverage provided by ACCNX. Prior to the game, there will be trick-or-treating on the concourse for Wolfpack fans dressed in Halloween attire.
