Women’s Soccer Earns Team Academic Award For Ninth Consecutive Year

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NC State women's soccer team was recognized for its hard work in the classroom for the 2018-19 school year on Thursday, as it received the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic award for the ninth consecutive year.
It additionally marks the 15th time in program history that the Wolfpack has earned the national award, as the squad compiled a 3.45 team grade-point average for the previous academic year.
College Team Academic Award recipients are active members of the United Soccer Coaches College Services Program with a composite grade point average of 3.0 or better as a team.
NC State returns to action Saturday when it hosts Boston College at Dail Soccer Stadium. Kickoff is 7 p.m., and the match will be broadcast on the ACC Network Extra.
