Women’s Soccer Earns Team Academic Award For Ninth Consecutive Year

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NC State women's soccer team was recognized for its hard work in the classroom for the 2018-19 school year on Thursday, as it received the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic award for the ninth consecutive year.

It additionally marks the 15^th time in program history that the Wolfpack has earned the national award, as the squad compiled a 3.45 team grade-point average for the previous academic year.

College Team Academic Award recipients are active members of the United Soccer Coaches College Services Program with a composite grade point average of 3.0 or better as a team.

NC State returns to action Saturday when it hosts Boston College at Dail Soccer Stadium. Kickoff is 7 p.m., and the match will be broadcast on the ACC Network Extra.
