David Loera Named to Midseason Top-100 List

Junior midfielder is also on the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List

RALEIGH – David Loera of the 23rd-ranked NC State men's soccer team (8-3-3, 3-2-1 ACC) has been ranked 13th on the TopDrawerSoccer Midseason Top Player 100 List, the organization announced recently.

A junior midfielder on the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List, Loera ranks second on the team this season in goals (3) and points (8). He has started all 14 matches and has one match-winning goal to his name, a goal scored in NC State's 1-0 win over ETSU on Oct. 8.

Loera and the Wolfpack are tied for fourth place in the Atlantic Coast Conference standings with two matches remaining in the regular season. NC State next plays at Syracuse on Saturday evening. Kickoff from SU Soccer Stadium is scheduled for 7 pm with live streaming coverage provided by ACCNX.
