Pablo Pedregosa Named to Midseason Top-100 List

Wolfpack defender is ranked among the nation’s best freshmen

RALEIGH – Freshman defender Pablo Pedregosa of the 23rd-ranked NC State men's soccer team (7-3-2, 3-2-0) has been ranked 17th nationally on TopDrawerSoccer's midseason list of the top 100 freshmen playing collegiate soccer, the organization announced Friday.
A freshman from Villareal, Spain, Pedregosa has played in 11 of NC State's 12 matches this season and has scored two goals from a defensive position. He has played an important role on a Wolfpack squad that has posted the 26th best goals-against-average in the nation (0.792 goals allowed per 90 minutes).
NC State continues ACC play at local foe Duke Friday evening. Kickoff from Koskinen Stadium is scheduled for 7 pm with live television coverage provided by Fox Sports South.
