Pack Kicks Off 2019-20 Season with Primetime with the Pack

The 2019-20 season kicked off inside James T. Valvano Arena at Reynolds Coliseum on Friday evening as the NC State men's and women's basketball teams made their public debuts.

The 90-minute show was packed full of entertainment as both teams danced and participated in numerous competitions to the delight of a near capacity crowd.

Sophomore Jericole Hellems won the skills competition, freshman Dereon Seabron won the dunk contest and graduate transfer Pat Andree capped the evening by winning the three-point contest.

The NC State women's basketball team will hold an exhibition game inside Reynolds Coliseum on Thursday, Oct. 31 when it hosts Anderson and will play its regular-season opener on Wednesday, Nov. 6 when it hosts North Carolina A&T.

The men's basketball team hosts Mount Olive University in an exhibition game inside PNC Arena on Sunday, oct. 27 and will host Georgia Tech in its season-opener on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
