Wolfpack Posts Three Ranked Wins, Undefeated on First Day of Main Draw Action at ITA All-American Championships

TULSA, Okla. – The NC State women's tennis team went undefeated in the opening round of the singles main draw on Wednesday (3-0) at the ITA Women's All-American Championships. Anna Rogers, Alana Smith and Adriana Reami all added ranked wins to their win columns.
Eighth-ranked Rogers continued her perfect season (2-0) against ranked opponents to open up play on Wednesday with a straight-set victory over No. 98 Rebeka Stolmar (UCF) to extend the senior's win streak to three matches.
Due to weather, the remaining singles matches were moved inside for the day and the first round of doubles matches was moved to Thursday.
No. 40 Smith earned her third ranked win of the season thanks to a 6-0, 6-4 decision against No. 42 Anna Bright (California). The sophomore has won her last five singles matches.
No. 84 Reami collected her third ranked victory of the young season with a three-set win. The victory over No. 82 Martina Capurro is her second win this season over an opponent ranked higher than her.
