Rifle Announces 2020 Spring Schedule

RALEIGH - The NC State rifle team has released its spring 2020 schedule, as announced by head coach Emily Holsopple on Oct. 1.Â

The Wolfpack kicks things off with a pair of matches at Army in West Point, N.Y. The team takes on Kentucky Jan. 18 and follows up with a competition against Army Jan. 19. The following weekend, the team travels to Oxford, Miss. for a tilt with Ole Miss Jan. 25. A quick turnaround sees the Wolfpack competing against UT Martin in Murray, Kentucky. Jan. 26.Â
Februrary begins with the Wolfpack's sole home match of the season, which takes place on Feb. 2 against Nebraska in Reynolds Coliseum. The match also serves as the Pack's senior day, recognizing seniors Zach Eisenberg and Claire Zanti.
After the team's home stand, competition resumes for the Pack on Feb. 22 at the NCAA Qualifiers in Charleston, S.C. The GARC Conference Championships take place from Feb. 28-29 in Memphis, Tenn. and serve as the final match before the NCAA Championships.
Emily Fisher headlined the Wolfpack's ninth-place finish at the 2019 GARC Conference Championships, shooting a 580 in smallbore.
The NCAA Championships will occur March 13-14 in Lexington, Ky. Competitors at the NCAA Championships will make a showing at the NCAA Qualifiers in February to vy for a spot at the Championships in March.
