Women’s Golf Adds Four To 2019 Signing Class

RALEIGH – The NC State women's golf team has added four players to its 2019 signing class, as announced by head coach Page Marsh on Thursday.
Natalie Armbruester, Pilar Berchot, Inja Fric and Ryann Sinclair will join the Wolfpack, as all four are slated to arrive in Raleigh in the fall of 2019.
"I'm excited to announce that Inja, Natalie, Pilar and Ryann will be joining our Pack Women's Golf Family," said Marsh. "These four young women exude passion for the game and have tremendous work ethic. They are relentless in their drive for excellence and are supported by growth mindsets.
"Their joy for the game and passion for team golf is positively infectious. All four are kind and compassionate, as they are always looking for a way to support and bind those around them.
"We're excited to support their careers and watch their paw prints in time."

Natalie Armbruester | Zurich, Switzerland
- Owns dual citizenship in the United States and Switzerland, as she was born in Norwalk, Conn., and moved to Zurich when she was five years old
- Was a member of the Swiss National Junior Team from 2013-16
- A member of Swiss National Women's Team since 2017
- Has been ranked as high as No. 485 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings
- Won the U14 Swiss National Championship and 2018 Swiss Central Championships
- Has earned several top 10 and 20 finishes at major international women competitions such as Italian, German and Finish championships
- Finished runner up at the 2018 Belgian International Amateur Championship, and fourth at the 2017 Doral Junior Golf Classic
- Participant in 2017 and '18 European Team and Individual Championships
Pilar Berchot | Buenos Aires, Argentina
- Ranks among the top 5 in Argentina's national youth rankings
- Has been ranked as high at No. 641 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings
- Placed second at the 2018 Federation Tournament
- Earned top five finishes at the Optimist International and Golden Cup in 2017
- Won the 2018 Bufagni Tejidos with scores of 73 and 68
- Finished 12th at the 2018 Youth Open Championship of Chile
- Earned a top 15 finish at the 2018 Abierto Sudamericano Amateur
- Captured top-three finishes in a pair of national tournaments, and finished runner up at a regional tournament in 2018
- Placed third at the 2018 Center Open in Córdoba, Argentina
Inja Fric | Ljubljana, Slovenia
- Won the Slovakian and Slovenian Junior International Championships in 2016
- Winner of the 2018 Italian National Team Championship
- Member of Slovenian women's team for the 2018 World Amateur Team Championship
- Member of the Slovenian women's team for European Team Championships in 2015, '17 and '18
- Her career low is a 63 (-8) at GC Arboretum
- Finished T58th at the European Ladies Amateur Championship in 2018
- Has been ranked as high at No. 1,037 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings
Ryann Sinclair | Mooresville, N.C.
- Named to the 2018 North Carolina Girls' All-State Third Team
- Earned NCISSA High School All-State Team honors in 2018, as well as All-Lake Norman Team honors in 2017
- Named MVP at Davidson Day School in 2017 and '18
- Was a captain of the women's golf team in 2018 and co-captain of the women's basketball team in 2017 at Davidson Day School
- Named to the Carolina's Golf Association All-State Third Team in 2017
- Helped her team to a pair of NCISSA Women's Basketball State Tournament finals appearances (2015, '16)
- Currently ranks 21st in the latest Tarheel Youth Golf Association (TYGA) junior girls rankings
- Earned a pair of top-two finishes on the Peggy Kirk Bell Tour in 2018, and won an AJGA tournament in 2017
- A member of the National Honor Society
- Named to the High School Headmaster's List all four years
- Named High School Underclassman of the Year (selected by high school faculty) as a sophomore and junior
