Unbeaten Wolfpack Moves up to #7 in Associated Press Poll

NC State is off to best ACC start to a season since 1988-89

RALEIGH – Still extending its best undefeated start to a season in program history, the NC State women's basketball team (20-0, 7-0 ACC) moved up to seventh in the Associated Press Top-25 Poll on Monday afternoon.

The Wolfpack has spent the last three weeks in the eighth spot of both the AP and USA Today polls. Monday's placement of seventh marks the program's best ranking since Feb. 14, 2000 when NC State was listed seventh.

The only remaining undefeated team in NCAA Division I women's and men's college basketball, NC State plays at Wake Forest on Thursday evening and hosts rival UNC-Chapel Hill on Sunday in front of a sellout crowd in Raleigh.
