Saturday’s game at PNC Arena is first home game in two weeks for the Pack

RALEIGH, NC – The 21st-ranked NC State men's basketball team (15-4, 3-3 ACC) plays its first home game in two weeks as it welcomes Clemson (11-7, 1-4 ACC) to PNC Arena for a 2 p.m. tipoff.
The game will be televised in the Raleigh area on WRAL (NBC). Other stations in North Carolina carrying the game include WBTV (CBS) in Charlotte, WFYV (CBS) in Greensboro- Winston-Salem – High Point, WITN-D2 (This TV) in Greenville – New Bern – Washington and WSFC (FOX) in Wilmington. Pack Tracks
- The Pack dropped an 84-77 road decision to #23 Louisville on Thursday night. The Pack connected on a season-best 12 three-pointers in the game, but a season-worst 23 turnovers cost NC State. Sophomore guard Braxton Beverly led the Pack with 19 points in the game, connecting on 5-of-8 three-pointers. Senior guard Torin Dorn added 18 points, while CJ Bryce (15) and Devon Daniels (10) also finished in double figures.
- The Pack has six players averaging in double figures in ACC play, led by junior guard CJ Bryce at 14.5 points per game.
- Six different players have led NC State in scoring this season. Braxton Beverly (3x), CJ Bryce (1x) Devon Daniels (3x), Torin Dorn (7x), Markell Johnson (4x) and Eric Lockett (1x) have led the Pack in scoring. NC State relies on a balanced scoring attack. All 10 players on the roster have scored in double figures in at least one game this season and five of the players are shooting 50 percent or better from the field.
- The Pack's bench is averaging 34.1 points per game and has outscored the opponents bench by 311 points this season. NC State's bench has had 27 individual double-digit scoring performances. The Pack has scored 40+ points off the bench in eight games this season, including a school-record 62-point performance in the win over USC Upstate on Dec. 22. - Saturday marks the first home game for the Pack in two weeks. NC State opened ACC play by playing four of its first six conference games on the road. The Pack has an 8-3 home record in ACC action under head coach Kevin Keatts.
- The Pack is shooting 73.6% from the free throw line in ACC play (4th in the conference), but is averaging just 15.2 free throw attempts per game in conference play. That average ranks as the third-lowest in the ACC. Clemson is one of the two teams in ACC play that averages less free throw attempts per game than the Pack (14.8 per game). NC State's opponents have hit 127 free throws in six games against the Pack. NC State's opponents have hit 36 more free throws than the Pack has even attempted (91).
