RALEIGH, N.C.– The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has released its latest TYR Top 25 Poll, and both of NC State's swimming and diving teams checked in among the top six teams in the nation.
The Wolfpack women moved up three spots to No. 6, and NC State's men also moved up a spot to round out the top five at No. 5. The Pack has yet to see either team fall outside of the top 11 during the 2018-19 season, and both NC State squads have been featured in the top nine of the last four national polls. NC State is also the only program in the ACC with both of its teams featured inside the top 10.
NC State has swept all three of its dual meets this season, picking up wins on both the men's and women's sides against South Carolina, Duke and UNC-Chapel Hill. The Wolfpack women also took first place at the Indiana Invitational in the fall to remain unbeaten on the season.
The Pack returns to action at home on Saturday, Jan. 26 as it hosts Virginia inside the Casey Aquatic Center. The meet will feature a pair of ranked matchups as both Cavalier squads also find themselves ranked in the top 15 of the latest poll. Diving is set for a 10 a.m. start, and swimming events will begin at 11 a.m.
