Wolfpack Men and Women Honored as Scholar All-America Teams

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – After a successful fall semester both in and out of the pool, the NC State men's and women's swimming and diving teams were both named Scholar All-America Teams by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).
The Wolfpack women, who won the Chancellor's Cup at the 2018 Wolfies for having the highest team GPA across all women's teams at NC State, posted a 3.55 cumulative GPA during the Fall 2018 semester. In addition to their success in the classroom, NC State's women remained ranked in the top 11 of the CSCAA rankings for the entirety of the fall. The Wolfpack women have yet to lose a meet during the 2018-19 campaign, as they have secured three dual wins and an invitational win this season.
NC State's men posted a 3.38 cumulative GPA in the fall to also earn recognition as a Scholar All-America Team. The Pack men have been ranked as high as No. 3 in the national rankings this season and have also won all three of their dual meets during the 2018-19 campaign.
A total of 713 teams from 460 institutions across all collegiate divisions have been honored as CSCAA Scholar All-America Teams. To be considered for the award, teams were required to post a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the Fall 2018 semester.
