Wolfpack Volleyball Turns in Strong Fall Semester Academically

Three student-athletes earn perfect 4.0 GPAs
RALEIGH, N.C. – Headlined by 16 scholar-athletes and seven student-athletes named to the Dean's List, the NC State volleyball team turned in a stellar 2018 Fall Semester in the classroom.

The Wolfpack compiled a 3.33 team grade point average (GPA), highlighted by 12 student-athletes with a semester GPA better than 3.3 and seven with a GPA higher than 3.5.

Additionally, seniors Makenzie Kuchmaner and Kassie Kasper along with freshman Pam Chukwujekwu earned a perfect 4.0 GPA for the 2018 fall semester. Kuchmaner and Kasper graduated in December with a degree in biological sciences.

The strong semester has improved NC State volleyball's cumulative team GPA to a 3.325 from a 3.255 at this time a season ago.
Â
NC State ended the 2018 season with a 15-13 overall record and a 9-9 mark in ACC play. The Wolfpack finished the year strong by winning five of its six matches during the month of November.

Three members of the Pack earned All-ACC honors at the conclusion of the season: Melissa Evans, Kylie Pickrell and Teni Sopitan. Click here for a recap of the 2018 season.
