@PackWrestle Has Five Ranked in Preseason Top-10 by FloWrestling

6 of the Pack’s potential starters ranked in their weight class overall

RALEIGH, N.C. – With the start of official practice right around the corner, preseason rankings are now starting to come out for the upcoming 2018-19 NCAA Wrestling season.

FloWrestling has been unveiling their rankings over the last couple of weeks, and the Wolfapck will well represented. NC State has six of its 10 potential starters ranked in the top-20 of their weight class overall, including five ranked in the top-10, and three ranked among All-American honors (top-8).

R-Sr. Sean Fausz - #9 at 125 pounds
2018 ACC Champion at 125 pounds, was an NCAA Qualifier last season for the third year in a row. Will travel to Romania in November to wrestle at the U23 World Championships.

R-So. Tariq Wilson - #3 at 133 pounds
Started last year unranked, but finished in third place and garnered All-American honors after an impressive run at the NCAA Championships. Upset three top-five seeds at the NCAAs and reached the semifinals before falling in OT. Went 5-1 during his run, and was 24-2 on takedowns.

Gr. Justin Oliver - #7 at 149 pounds
Transferred to NC State from Central Michigan for his final college season. Was a 2016 All-American at 149 pounds as a true freshman, and one win away from All-American honors each of the last two seasons.

R-So. Hayden Hidlay - #2 at 157 pounds
Unranked in the preseason last year by FloWrestling, was a NCAA Finalist, All-American and ACC Champion in his first season of action. Went 26-1 last year, only loss in NCAA Finals. Will travel to Romania in November to wrestle at the U23 World Championships.

R-So. Daniel Bullard - #18 at 174 pounds
2018 NCAA Qualifier at 174 pounds in his first year of action for NC State. Went 17-11 on the season, including 1-2 at the NCAA Championships, and was third at ACC Championships.

R-So. Nick Reenan - #9 at 184 pounds
Redshirted last season, after being an NCAA Qualifier at 174 pounds as a true-freshmen in 2017. In freestyle action, advanced to Final X this summer after winning the World Team Trials, as is currently in Colorado training at USA Wrestling's final domestic training camp.
