RALEIGH, N.C. - In response to the devastating flooding, damage and loss suffered by the state of North Carolina, our communities and citizens following Hurricane Florence, NC State Athletics is joining the University's overall efforts to aid in relief and recovery with a goods collection at Saturday's football game against Virginia.
Â
NC State has partnered with GoTriangle, United Way of the Greater Triangle, and United Way of North Carolina to receive donations in the Carter-Finley Stadium parking lots. Starting at 8 a.m., one GoTriangle bus will be parked in Lowes Foods Fan Zone and additional buses will be parked near the Close-King Indoor Practice Facility and also by the Trinity Road Tunnel as drop off points for donations. Two additional collection tents will be set up near gate 4 on the West Side of the Stadium.
HERE is a full list of goods fans can bring to the football game on Saturday and donate.Â
NC State Athletics is also involved in a number of other relief efforts, including this year's Primetime with the Pack basketball event, which will be a ticketed event. All after-tax proceeds will go to disaster relief. More details about this event will be released in the coming days.
