RALEIGH – The NC State men's soccer team's free intrasquad scrimmage was unfortunately cut short by the weather on Sunday evening at Dail Soccer Stadium.
NC State's roster split into Red and White teams and managed to warm up and play ten minutes before inclement weather popped up rapidly and proved persistent, forcing the cancellation of the match.
The Wolfpack will conclude the exhibition portion of its season on Saturday, August 18 when the team visits Duke. Kickoff between the Wolfpack and Blue Devils is scheduled for 7 pm from Durham. NC State will officially open the 2018 season at home against USC Upstate on Friday, Aug. 24.
