NC State’s Brian Brown, Brett Kinneman and Will Wilson garner All-America honors
TUCSON, Ariz. – After helping the NC State baseball team garner a top-16 seed in the NCAA Championships to host for the second time in the last three seasons, the Wolfpack's Brian Brown, Brett Kinneman and Will Wilson have been named All-Americans by Collegiate Baseball.Â
Â
The selections mark the second consecutive year that an NC State player has been named an All-American by the publication, as Joe Dunand claimed the honor last season.
Â
Brown and Wilson earned a spot on the second team, while Kinneman was tabbed to the third team.
Â
Brian Brown | Glenmoore, Pa. | P

He has recorded a 6-2 record complemented by a 2.71 earned run average (ERA), which ranks among the top 10 ACC pitchers this season. He has started 15 games on the mound this season and 60 for his career, which leads all active Division I pitchers. That mark is also tied for the program record. Brown has gone at least five innings in 14 of his 15 starts and NC State has won 12 of the 15 games he has started. He is one of 25 semifinalists for the Golden Spikes Award, as well as being a First Team All-ACC Selection.

A few weeks ago, he made program history by becoming the first NC State player to claim ACC Player of the Week honors three times during the season. Wilson hit 10 home runs against ACC teams, which tied for the third most in conference games. This season, he has tabbed National Player of the Week by Collegiate Baseball and College Sports Madness, along with NCBWA National Hitter of the Week. He is third on the Wolfpack with 17 multi-hit games this season and owns 14 multi-RBI games. Wilson has reached base safely in 11 consecutive games heading into the NCAA Championships.
