Members of Wolfpack Featured in Final Oracle/ITA Singles & Doubles Rankings

FINAL ITA SINGLES RANKINGS | FINAL ITA DOUBLES RANKINGS
TEMPE, Ariz. – Claudia Wiktorin & Anna Rogers of the NC State women's tennis team were tabbed at No. 20 in the final Oracle/ITA Doubles rankings of 2017-18, as announced by the organization Wednesday. Adriana Reami was also ranked No. 88 and Rogers No. 96 in the singles rankings.
It marks the second-highest season-ending ranking achieved by a doubles duo in program history and is the second-straight year an NC State doubles tandem has ended the season with a top-20 ranking. It is also Rogers' second-straight year ending the season with a top-20 doubles ranking.
Rogers & Wiktorin, who earned a program best 28 wins including eight over nationally-ranked opponents, advanced to the Sweet 16 at the NCAA Doubles Championship. They defeated No. 9 Maddie Lipp & Erin Larner of Northwestern 2-6, 6-3, 12-10 on May 24 then narrowly fell to Arizona State's No. 15 Ilze Hattingh & Lauryn John-Baptiste 6-1, 6-7(4), 10-6on May 25 at the Wake Forest Tennis Center.
Reami played at the No. 2 spot and earned 25 wins, including seven over ACC opponents and three over nationally-ranked opponents. Playing at the No. 1 position, Rogers recorded 16 wins on the season including four over ACC opponents.
The Wolfpack ended the season ranked No. 34 in the Oracle/ITA team rankings released on May 23. Posting a 17-15 (7-7 ACC) record, NC State earned selection to the NCAA Championship for the third-straight year in 2018. The Wolfpack has now earned two of its four best season-ending rankings in program history in the last three years.
