ITA Rankings
TEMPE, Ariz. – The NC State women's tennis team landed at No. 34 in the final Oracle/ITA team poll of the season, as announced by the organization Wednesday. The ranking was the fourth-highest season-ending team ranking in program history.
Posting a 17-15 (7-7 ACC) record, NC State earned selection to the NCAA Championship for the third-straight year in 2018. The Wolfpack met No. 16 Baylor in the opening round at the Los Angeles Tennis Center, winning the doubles point but narrowly falling 4-3.
The Wolfpack has now earned two of it's four best season-ending rankings in program history in the last three years.
While the team's season has finished, No. 19 junior Claudia Wiktorin and sophomore Anna Rogers will open the NCAA Doubles Championship on Thursday as they take on No. 4 Erin Larner and Maddie Lipp in the Round of 32 at the Wake Forest Tennis Complex.
