Women’s Tennis Ranked #38 in Latest National Rankings

TEMPE, Ariz. – After winning its last three ACC matches on the road the NC State women's tennis moved up to #38 in the latest Oracle/ITA team rankings, as announced by the organization Tuesday. Anna Rogers was ranked #81 and Adriana Reami #118 in singles while Rogers and Claudia Wiktorin were tabbed at #27 in doubles.
Since last week's Oracle/ITA rankings were released the Wolfpack earned a pair of road ACC wins as it defeated Louisville 7-0 on Mar. 6 and Notre Dame 4-3 on Apr. 8 on
Doubles
Wiktorin & Rogers landed at #27 in the doubles rankings. Since the most recent doubles rankings came out on Apr. 2 the duo have a 1-1 record; on Apr. 6 they defeated #57 Abbie Pahz and Mariana Humberg of Louisville.
Singles
In singles, Rogers was tabbed at #80 and Reami moved into the singles rankings as she was tabbed at #118. In the Pack's win over Louisville Rogers defeated Aleksandra Mally 6-3, 5-7, 6-4 at No. 1 and Reami earned a 6-3, 2-6, 6-2 win at No. 2 over Mariana Humberg. Reami also defeated Brooke Boda 6-1, 6-0 of Notre Dame at No. 2.
