Wolfpack earns 6-2 win in game two to avenge loss in game one
RALEIGH, N.C. – The sixth-ranked NC State baseball team split a doubleheader with Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Friday afternoon at Doak Field at Dail Park, as the Wolfpack earned a 6-2 win in game two of the twin bill after dropping the first game, 13-4.

Game three of the series will take place on Sunday at 1 p.m., as the winner will clinch the series.

NC State moves to 19-4 on the year and 6-2 in ACC play, while Georgia Tech falls to 13-9 and 3-5 in conference action.

- After the teams were held scoreless through the first four innings of game two, NC State plated five runs in the fifth inning. It was the 14th time this season that the Wolfpack has tallied a big inning with four or more runs.
