Wiktorin & Rogers Tie Highest Doubles Ranking in Program History

Duo Ranked #7 in latest Oracle/ITA doubles rankings
Oracle/ITA Doubles Top 60
TEMPE, Ariz. – Junior Claudia Wiktorin & sophomore Anna Rogers of the NC State women's tennis team tied the highest doubles ranking in program history as the duo landed at #7 in the latest Oracle/ITA doubles poll, as announced by the organization Wednesday. Their ranking tied the #7 ranking achieved by Sanna Bhambri & Sandya Nagharaj in 2011.
Wiktorin & Rogers picked up where they left off in the fall and have impressed in the early stages of the dual season, earning two ranked wins. On Jan. 26 against #16 UCLA they defeated seventh-ranked Jada Hart & Ena Shibahra 6-2 and on Feb. 2 they overcame #23 Gabriela Porubin & Fatima Bizhukova of Wichita State 6-4.
The duo was ranked #15 in the preseason rankings and #9 in the Nov. 19, 2017 rankings.
The next ITA doubles rankings will be released on Feb. 20.
Up Next: The Wolfpack plays its first home matches of the season on Feb. 10 when it hosts Appalachian State at 9 a.m. and Campbell at 5 p.m. inside the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center.
