INDIANAPOLIS – The 23rd-ranked NC State women's basketball team (19-5, 8-3 ACC) was named the NCAA Women's Basketball Team of the Week on Tuesday morning.

NC State has won seven straight ACC games, the longest active streak of wins over league foes in the Atlantic Coast Conference, and its longest such ACC stretch since the 2000-01 season. During the most recent week of action, NC State defeated No. 10/11 Florida State 65-56 on February 1 and then beat Boston College 72-54 on February 4.
