RALEIGH – The #37 NC State women's tennis team is slated for a pair of matches over the weekend as it takes Arizona Saturday at 11 a.m. (ET) and #8 Texas Tech Sunday at 1 p.m. (ET). Both matches take place in Lubbock, Texas, at the McLeod Tennis Center.
From the Coach
"This weekends matches in Lubbock against Arizona and Texas Tech conclude what's been a extremely busy segment of play for the team," said head coach Simon Earnshaw. "I think any time you have a run of matches like this, especially facing three top-10 teams in eight days, there's the potential for tremendous upside as well as adversity at the same time. No two seasons are created equally and this one certainly isn't any different in that regard thus far. The cliche that you take it one match at a time holds true and that's what we are trying to do right now. I feel like it's a great opportunity for the team to come together, I'd say that we have become more unified and that provides a lot of clarity for what we need to get accomplished each and every day. I expect tough matches both days, we've got some adjustments to make and need to assimilate those very quickly. Then like with any match, we've got to get out there and play as hard as possible. The last part I have no doubt in, this is why we practice and what we enjoy doing. Go Pack!"
