WASHINGTON – The 10th-ranked NC State women's basketball team (10-0) continued its perfect start to the 2018-19 season Saturday afternoon with a 76-65 win at Georgetown inside McDonough Arena.
NC State trailed by seven points (32-25) early in the second quarter but used a 16-2 run over the next 6:38 to take a 41-34 halftime lead. Georgetown scored six straight points to start the third quarter and pulled within one point (41-40) before the Wolfpack ripped off an 11-0 run to take a commanding 52-40 advantage with 4:15 remaining in the third stanza. Georgetown only pulled within single digits on one occasion throughout the rest of the afternoon, and NC State led by as many as 17 points twice in the fourth quarter before securing the 11-point victory.

She was joined in double figures by Kiara Leslie (18 points), Grace Hunter (13), and Aislinn Konig (12). Hunter pulled down 11 rebounds to record her fourth double-double of the season and was just two assists away from achieving just the third triple-double in program history.
