Unbeaten Wolfpack Moves Up to #9 in Both National Polls

RALEIGH – Off to its best start to a season since 1999-2000, the NC State women's basketball team (12-0) moved up to ninth in the Associated Press and USA Today top-25 polls on Monday, December 24.
The Wolfpack has spent the last three weeks at the 10th spot in both the AP and USA Today polls. Monday's placement of ninth marks the program's best ranking since Feb. 14, 2000 when NC State was listed seventh.
One of just nine remaining unbeaten teams, NC State closes out the non-conference portion of the regular season at home on Dec. 30 when Davidson comes to Raleigh. Tip-off is set for 2 pm from Kay Yow Court inside James T. Valvano Arena at Reynolds Coliseum.
