Saturday is Military Veterans Appreciation at PNC Arena. Members of the military and veterans can receive tickets for $10 for Saturday's contest against the Hawks. Show military ID at the ticket box office or call the ticket office at 919-865-1510 for more information.
The Pack opened the season on Tuesday with a 105-55 win over Mount St. Mary's.
The game on Saturday will be televised in North Carolina on Fox Sports South. Pack Tracks
-Â NC State opens its 109th season of basketball Tuesday evening with a 105-55 win over Mount St. Mary's. Ten players played in the game for the Pack with eight making their NC State debut.
-Â The Pack broke the game open in the second half, outscoring the Mountaineers by 40 points, 65-25. The 65 points set a PNC Arena record for the most points scored in a single half.
- NC State held Mount St. Mary's to 32.8 percent field goal shooting on Tuesday night. The field goal percentage is lower than any opponent had last season. The Pack also had 12 steals in the win. Junior guard CJ Bryce led the Pack with a career-high four steals.  It's the fourth time in 34 games in the Kevin Keatts era that the Pack had double-digit steals in a game.
- Senior guard Torin Dorn led the Pack in the win with a career-high 28 points and tied his career-high with three steals. The Charlotte native also grabbed a team-best nine rebounds. He scored 16 of his team-best 28 points in the second half when he shot 5-of-7 from the field, including 3-of-4 from three-point range.
-Â The Pack returns three starters from last season, but that is all the returnees the program has this season. NC State welcomes 10 newcomers to the team this season after the program lost nine letterwinners from last year's team.
NC State - Maryland Eastern Shore Series
- NC State leads the all-time series, 3-0.
- The two teams last met on Nov. 14, 1998, an 81-60 win for the Pack at Reynolds Coliseum.
- This will be the first meeting between the two programs inside PNC Arena.
- The Pack has a 30-1 all-time record against teams from the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.
Saturday Storylines
- NC State has won 24 of its last 25 non-conference games at PNC Arena.
- Maryland Eastern Shore lost its season-opener to Georgetown, 68-53, on Tuesday evening. The Hawks did force 19 Georgetown turnovers in the game, including registering 13 steals. The Pack forced 18 turnovers and had 12 steals in its season-opening win over Mount St. Mary's.
- The Hawks were doomed in their outing against Georgetown because of long scoreless droughts. Maryland Eastern Shore shot just 34.9 percent from the field, including 17.4 percent from three-point range. In the Kevin Keatts era, the Pack is 17-4 when holding its opponent to under 50 percent shooting and is 13-1 if its opponent shoots under 30 percent from three-point range.
