
Pack Scores 45 Unanswered Points and Wins at Louisville 52-10

The 52 points scored were the most on the season, and the most in a road contest since at South Alabama in 2015 (63) and the most in an ACC road game since at Duke in 2001 (55).

QB Ryan Finley threw for 316 yards and a career-best four touchdowns. RB Reggie Gallaspy, Jr., scored three touchdowns, two rushing and one receiving.

Louisville opened the scoring with a 32-yard field goal on their first possession.

The Pack then took the lead for good on the next possession, as Finley found Kelvin Harmon from 25 yards out to put NC State up 7-3 after the first quarter.

NC State increased the lead to 10-3 with a 23-yard Christopher Dunn field goal. Reggie Gallaspy, Jr., punched the ball in from one-yard out in the final minute to give the Pack a 17-3 halftime lead.

The Pack took advantage of a Louisville fumble on its own 22-yard line to start the third quarter, and Gallaspy rumbled in for his second TD from 18 yards out two plays later.

NC State extended the lead to 31-3 midway through the third quarter, as Finley found Emeka Emezie down the sideline for a 12-yard score, set up by a 27-yard Gallaspy run. Gallapsy found the end zone for the third time with a six-yard TD catch, and gave the Pack a 38-3 leading entering the fourth quarter.

Just over a minute into the fourth, Finley found WR Jakobi Meyers on a three-yard slant.

Louisville broke the 45 NC State-point stretch with a TD midway through the fourth.

QB Matthew McKay came in and led a 13-play, 75-yard drive that resulted in a one-yard Brady Bodine TD run to make the final margin 52-10.

After falling behind 3-0, NC State responded with its first touchdowns on the next drive to grab a 7-3 lead. The Pack went 76 yards in 10 plays, culminating with a 25-yard Ryan Finley to Kelvin Harmon TD grab.

On the drive, Finley was 6-of-6 for 59 yards, and on the drive Finley moved into second place in the NC State record books for career passing yards, ahead of Jamie Barnette only behind Philip Rivers.

• In the second quarter, QB Ryan Finley moved into second place in the NC State record books in career passing yardage. He passed Jamie Barnette, and only sits behind Philip Rivers.

• WE Kelvin Harmon went over 1,000 yards receiving for the second straight season. He is only the third player in school history (Torry Holt, Jerricho Cotchery) to eclipse 1,000 yards receiving twice in his career.

• NC State's 99-yard TD drive that spanned the third and fourth quarters was obviously the longest in school history, and the first 99-yard TD drive since the Georgia Southern game in 2014.
