Senior punter chosen in 'Ray's 8' for week 11 games
AUGUSTA, Ga. --Â Senior A.J. Cole III has been named one of eight punters in contention for National Punter of the Week, as announced Monday by the Ray Guy Award Committee.Â
Cole punted five times for 198 yards in the Wolfpack's 27-23 loss to Wake Forest. All five of his punts landed inside the 20-yard line.
With 8,477 punting yards over the course of his NC State career, Cole ranks third in career punting yards.
