The NC State Athletic Department has teamed up with the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle to Pack the Pantry for the next three home men's basketball games at PNC Arena.
NC State will be collecting donations as fans enter PNC Arena prior to the games against UNC Asheville on Tuesday, Nov. 13, Maine on Saturday, Nov. 17 and Saint Peter's on Tuesday, Nov. 20.
Fans that donate (5) or more perishable items at the Box Office at PNC Arena on the day of each game will receive a voucher for Buy One, Get One Free tickets. Various price levels of tickets will be available.
Fans are asked to donate healthy snacks, 100% juice boxes, proteins, fruits and vegetables, packaged noodles and breakfast items.
All donations for the game on Saturday, Nov. 17 will go to the Backpack Buddies program. BackPack Buddies provides children from food-insecure homes with healthy weekend meals during the school year. The children, selected by counselors and principals, receive a bag containing six balanced meals and two healthy snacks at the end of every week.
