Women’s Soccer Earns Team Academic Award For Seventh Straight Year

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The No. 23 NC State women's soccer team was recognized for its hard work in the classroom for the 2017-18 school year on Thursday morning, as it received the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award.
It marks the seventh consecutive year and 13th time in program history that the Wolfpack has earned the national award. The Wolfpack compiled a program-best 3.47 grade-point average for the academic year.
College Team Academic Award recipients are active members of the United Soccer Coaches College Services Program with a composite grade point average of 3.0 or better as a team.
The team is in action this evening at Syracuse. Kickoff is 7 p.m. at SU Soccer Stadium and the match will be broadcast on the ACC Network Extra.
