The NC State men's and women's golf teams will be hosting a 'Pack 9' outing Oct. 16 at Lonnie Poole Golf Course. The 'Pack 9' is a nine-hole event that brings NC State Golf closer to its neighbors on campus while also helping to support our surrounding communities, embodying the mantra, "Always fighting, never alone."
This year, NC State Golf is partnering with Feed the Pack Pantry on campus, which is a student-run organization targeting food insecurity on our campus. The pantry is open to anyone affiliated to NC State University.
If you're not a golfer but would still like to participate, please bring by your food donations to Lonnie Poole Oct. 16, make a monetary donation online or mail a check to the address below (cash cannot be accepted on-site). The Pantry's greatest needs are dried and canned fruits, canned meats, nuts, nut butters and jerky. To make an online donation or get more information on Feed the Pack and an expanded list of needs, go to https://feedthepack.dasa.ncsu.edu/ .
Per NCAA rules, the event is open to the public with the exception of prospective student athletes (any student who has started classes for the ninth grade).
