
Pack Finishes Ninth At Landfall Tradition

WILMINGTON, N.C. – The NC State women's golf team concluded competition on Sunday afternoon at the Landfall Tradition, finishing in a tie for ninth with UNC-Chapel Hill with a combined 906 (+42) after shooting a 306 (+18) in the final round.
Hosted by UNCW at the Country Club of Landfall in Wilmington, N.C., Duke (879, +15) claimed the team title while South Carolina (881, +17) and Arkansas (882, +18) rounded out the podium.
The Wolfpack closed out the fall with its best finish of the semester.
Naomi Ko collected a top 25 finish, the 11th of her career, with a 225 (+9) after carding a five-over par 77 to finish T24th.
Monika Hartl, who competed as an individual, finished one stroke back from Ko in a tie for 32nd after firing a one-under par 71. Her showing marked the second-best finish of her career as her final round featured two bogeys and three birdies.
Laura Kowohl and Mim Sangkapong finished with scores of 227 (+11) and 228 to finish T38th and T42nd, in respective order. Kowohl shot 74 and Sangkapong turned in a 77 in the final round.
Lea Klimentova concluded her showing with a 79 (+7) for a 54-hole total of 232 (+16) to finish T58th, while India Clyburn shot a 78 on Sunday to finish a stroke behind Klimentova for a tie for 66th.
