RALEIGH, N.C. – For the third consecutive season, the NC State volleyball team won its annual pink match as the Wolfpack stormed back to defeat Virginia, 3-1 (19-25, 25-19, 25-19, 16-25), Friday night inside Reynolds Coliseum.
Â
After dropping the first set, the Pack countered with three dominant sets, tallying a team attacking percentage better than .300 in each set, to earn the victory. Third-year head coach Linda Hampton-Keith recorded her 50thcareer win in the match and is a perfect 3-0 against the Cavaliers in her tenure.
Â
NC State moves to 9-8 on the year and 3-4 in ACC play, while Virginia falls to 5-12 and 1-6 in conference action.

Overall thoughts...
"I thought we started slow and then did really, really well," said Hampton-Keith. "We were talking after the match and we had fewer attacking errors in sets two, three and four combined then we did in the first set alone.
Â
"I was really, really proud of how we came back and started playing much better. Even going into set four, we still hadn't played our best volleyball and we did a really nice job of executing."
