Women’s Soccer Adds Pair Of Early Enrollees

RALEIGH – NC State women's soccer head coach Tim Santoro and his staff have announced the addition of early enrollees Mia Thillet and Kursten von Klahr to the program. Both have enrolled for the 2018 spring semester and are eligible to train with the team immediately.

-2017 Conference Player of the Year
-A three-time all-conference selection and named to the all-region team in 2017
-Led Providence High School to a state championship title in 2016 and a runner up finish in 2015
-Recently played with the Puerto Rican National Team
-Helped the Carolina Rapids win the 2017 USYS National Championship
-Led the Rapids to USYS Regional Championship titles in 2016 and '17
-Went to Costa Rica with the Region Three ODP Team and won the International Cup in 2015
-Invited to the ODP National Camp in Arizona and ID2 Camp in Raleigh in 2014
-National Honors Society member and a student ambassador
Santoro on Thillet: "Mia is a very attacking minded outside back who has good quality on both sides of the ball. She covers a lot of ground, fits well into how our backs play and will provide immediate needed depth to a position that carries a high work load."
