Hines Earns Place on Paul Hornung Award Honor Roll

RALEIGH – Thanks to an impressive showing against South Carolina in the Belk College Kickoff on Saturday, NC State running back/return specialist Nyheim Hines has been named to the named to the Paul Hornung Award Weekly Honor Roll.
Hines finished Saturday's contest with 192 all-purpose yards on 26 touches. Lining up at multiple positions in the offensive backfield, he had 15 rushes for 81 yards and a touchdown, while catching four passes for 32 yards. He also returned three punts for 40 yards and had two kickoff returns for another 39 yards.
Given annually by the Louisville Sports Commission to the most versatile player in major college, the Paul Hornung Award is presented by Texas Roadhouse. The winner of the award will he honored at the Galt House Hotel in downtown Louisville, Kentucky at a banquet presented by KentuckyOne Health on March 7, 2018.
