Women’s Soccer Among Top 25 Of Latest National Polls

With its 7-1-1 season record and extending its unbeaten streak to five last week the NC State women's soccer team is ranked in this week's national polls, checking in at No. 24 on the United Soccer Coaches Poll and 23rd on Soccer America's.

Last week the Pack battled to a 0-0 draw in double overtime with Virginia, who was ranked among the top five in both national polls last week, and picked up a 1-0 win over Western Carolina to close out its non-conference schedule.

The first RPI (rating percentage index) of the season additionally came out this week and the Wolfpack is ranked No. 13.

NC State returns to action Thursday when it hosts Boston College at Dail Soccer Stadium. Kickoff is 7 p.m. and the match will be broadcast on the ACC Network Extra.
