NC State Volleyball Enters PrepVolleyball College Rankings

Wolfpack listed among PrepVolleyball’s top 50 college teams

CULVER CITY, Calif. – Following a perfect 3-0 weekend, the NC State volleyball team has entered the PrepVolleyball College Rankings, which lists the top 50 NCAA Division I women's programs. The Wolfpack checks in at No. 45 in the ranking thanks to wins against UNCW, High Point and LIU Brooklyn over the weekend.

NC State has played one of the toughest schedules in the nation, as each of the program's losses have come against teams ranked in the poll. Florida is rated the highest of the group at No. 3, while Kansas is No. 11, Missouri State is No. 37 and Auburn rounds out the unit at No. 41.

The Wolfpack's offense ranks among the top of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and NCAA this season, as its .259 team attacking percentage is second in the league and 41st nationally. In addition, NC State's 13.09 assists per set ranks 44th in the NCAA and second in the conference.

NC State returns to action Friday afternoon when the squad takes the court against Cincinnati in a tournament hosted by Michigan. First serve is slated for Noon inside Cliff Keen Arena.
