Brown earns second all-tournament team honor this season, Bailey claims first
HIGH POINT, N.C. – NC State's Bree Bailey and Julia Brown have been named to the High Point All-Tournament Team following their performances over the weekend at the event. The duo combined to record 50 kills in the Wolfpack's two matches at High Point.

Brown was a vital part of NC State's success against UNCW, as the Davidson, N.C., native swatted a match and season-high 22 kills to lead the Wolfpack to the five-set win. After the Seahawks grabbed a 2-1 lead in the contest, Brown put down seven kills on 10 swings to record a .700 attacking percentage in the Pack's 25-7 fourth-set win.

She also had 11 digs to log her third double-double of the year. In NC State's 3-0 sweep against High Point, Brown registered 10 kills and 13 digs to earn her second consecutive double-double. The senior compiled 32 kills and 24 digs in a pair of matches held at High Point.

Brown added seven kills in the Wolfpack's home match versus LIU Brooklyn on Sunday, ending the weekend with 39 kills and surpassing the 1,000 career kills mark.

Bailey turned in a stellar performance in NCSU's three-set victory against High Point, as she tallied 11 kills on 24 attempts and did not commit an attacking error. She notched a .458 attacking percentage in the match.

Versus UNCW, the Salt Lake City, Utah, native had seven kills to finish the HPU Tournament with 18 kills. Bailey paced the Pack in kills on Sunday versus LIU Brooklyn with 12 complemented by a .529 attacking percentage.

NC State returns to action this weekend when the Wolfpack travels to Ann Arbor, Mich., for a tournament hosted by Michigan. The Pack opens play against Cincinnati at noon Friday, Sept. 15.
